Base Salary
$135k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools using Python.
- Build simulators and mocks to replicate third-party environments for testing.
- Develop and execute automated API test suites using Python Requests.
- Create and maintain automated UI test suites using Python Playwright.
- Monitor automated test runs, analyze failures, and provide insights.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and validate fixes.
- Perform manual testing for new features and complex regression scenarios.
- Document test frameworks, automation patterns, and defect reports.
- Ensure adequate test coverage for new features and high-risk areas.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of automation tooling and test strategy.
Requirements
- Minimum of six years of experience as a Software Test Engineer, Automation Engineer, or SDET.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python for building automation frameworks.
- Experience developing automated API tests using Python Requests.
- Experience designing and maintaining automated UI tests with Python Playwright.
- Familiarity with integrating automation with Jira/XRay and Slack.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across application layers.
- Ability to document test plans and defect reports clearly.
- Due to program requirements, US-born citizenship is required.
