Responsibilities

Define technical strategy and lead architectural design for cloud, data, and AI/ML systems across end-to-end engagements.
Architect scalable multi-cloud and hybrid cloud-native solutions.
Design data warehouses, data lakes, and batch and streaming data pipelines.
Design production AI/ML systems including model serving, MLOps pipelines, feature stores, and LLM-based applications.
Define infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and DevOps standards across engagements.
Optimize deployed systems for performance, scalability, cost, and reliability.
Ensure architectures meet security, governance, and compliance requirements.
Lead cloud migrations and platform modernization initiatives.
Partner with senior leadership and clients as the principal technical voice on strategy and direction.
Maintain architecture documentation, standards, and guidelines.
Mentor experienced engineers and architects and own difficult architectural and integration decisions.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend tools, frameworks, and patterns.

8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years in technical leadership roles.
Deep expertise in cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong experience with microservices, serverless systems, containers, and event-driven systems.
Proficiency with infrastructure as code and CI/CD.
Strong data architecture experience across relational, NoSQL, and big data systems.
Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and orchestration.
Strong experience designing production AI/ML systems involving LLMs, MLOps, and model serving.
Understanding of networking, security, identity, and access management in cloud environments.
Experience with governance, compliance, and observability frameworks.
Strong software engineering skills, including Python and containerization.
Track record of senior technical leadership and mentoring experienced engineers.
Strong stakeholder communication skills.
Demonstrable use of AI-forward tools such as Claude and Cursor.
Multi-cloud architecture experience, responsible AI experience, or enterprise architecture certifications such as TOGAF or AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications is preferred.
