Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and configure NM SCADA EMS/GMS systems and identify documentation gaps.
- Document installation and user-documentation discrepancies and collaborate on software-upgrade procedures.
- Perform system testing, validation, and commissioning for real-time data acquisition, visualization, and control.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment of SCADA configurations and updates.
- Document system architecture, configurations, and procedures with R&D, engineering, and operations teams.
- Use Git to manage SCADA project files and code.
- Monitor system performance using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- 3 to 12 years of experience.
- Diversified knowledge of engineering, electric utilities, and related functions.
- In-depth knowledge of product development and Agile processes.
- Proficiency in SCADA and industrial software platforms.
- Experience with system integration, software upgrades, and testing.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Git.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and VMware.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Working knowledge of C# and SQL queries.
- Experience with NUnit, MSTest, or xUnit test automation frameworks.
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of networking and cybersecurity in operational technology environments.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
