Base Salary
$215k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable systems for merchant-facing products and services.
- Develop features that improve the merchant experience and drive engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless product integrations.
- Own the core Merchant Platform and identify, prioritize, and execute infrastructure opportunities.
- Build and operate asynchronous systems or data pipelines in production.
- Drive product and platform initiatives from inception to completion.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and operating production backend or platform systems.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and commitment to high-quality software.
- Experience building and operating asynchronous systems or data pipelines in production environments.
- Ability to identify commonalities across problem statements and design appropriate abstractions.
- Ability to take ownership and operate effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively on a small team and help establish company foundations.
