Responsibilities
- Design and deploy RAG pipelines grounded in client codebases, architecture documents, ADRs, runbooks, and engineering standards.
- Configure Flowsource Code Companion and the Flowsource VS Code extension, including retrieval chunking and reranking for client content.
- Build and curate client-specific prompt libraries for code generation, refactoring, test scaffolding, and code review assistants.
- Govern the coexistence of Flowsource with GitHub Copilot or equivalent tools.
- Evaluate output quality for coding-standard conformance, hallucinations, security, PII leakage, and bias.
- Track generative AI adoption, prompt acceptance, token consumption, and developer productivity metrics.
- Assess LLM choices across AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, and on-premise models while balancing cost, latency, and quality.
- Provide feedback on BizChat.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 1–2 years building production RAG or generative AI systems.
- Hands-on experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex and vector databases such as pgvector, OpenSearch, Pinecone, or Azure AI Search.
- Strong Python skills and TypeScript experience for VS Code extension surfaces.
- Practical depth with at least one of AWS Bedrock or Azure OpenAI; familiarity with GCP Vertex AI is helpful.
- Experience building evaluation harnesses and golden sets and testing hallucination, bias, and output quality.
- Awareness of enterprise AI governance, data residency, prompt logging, and PII handling.
- Ability to evaluate and manage trade-offs among LLM cost, latency, and quality.
