Responsibilities
- Contribute across the platform, including backend agent frameworks and frontend workflows
- Design architecture and build functional initial versions that can evolve into scalable production systems
- Own software and product outcomes from concept through deployment
- Partner with customers whose brands, reputations, and names have significant social and commercial impact
- Help define the culture and become a leader as Outtake grows
Requirements
- At least two years of experience as a software engineer building high-quality products
- Strong holistic problem-solving skills and the ability to evaluate technical and business tradeoffs
- Ability to learn new technologies, consider alternative approaches, and avoid ideological technology choices
- Organized, self-sufficient, and comfortable managing work through ambiguity
- Ownership of product quality, maintenance, understandability, and code quality
- Experience at a high-growth early-stage startup is a bonus
- Experience building agents or fine-tuning large language models is a bonus
- Experience building large-scale content indexing systems is a bonus
- Experience with NextJS, React, Typescript, tRPC, Vercel, or Postgres is a bonus
