Responsibilities
- Design, build, configure, debug, test, and maintain custom software applications using IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and software solutions.
- Serve as an SME, collaborate with and manage team activities, and make decisions for the team.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key technical and project decisions.
- Lead process improvement efforts to enhance team productivity and quality.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance for their professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication and monitor project progress to support timely delivery.
- Work with database management and integration techniques relevant to IBM System i platforms.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV.
- Proficiency in IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV and application design and development principles in IBM System i environments.
- Experience debugging, testing, and maintaining custom software applications.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
- Familiarity with database management and integration techniques for IBM System i platforms.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software solutions.
- 15 years of full-time education.
