Base Salary
$130k - $186k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI agents, agent workflows, tool integrations, and multi-agent orchestration systems.
- Integrate agents with enterprise systems through APIs, tools, plugins, and Model Context Protocol servers.
- Drive technical strategy and architecture for agentic AI initiatives and communicate complex designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional delivery of large-scale agent-powered projects and coordinate the work of other team members.
- Ensure agent service health, quality, scalability, reliability, monitoring, versioning, cost management, and performance optimization.
- Build observability and testing practices including execution tracing, decision logging, prompt validation, agent evaluation, tool validation, workflow testing, and adversarial scenario testing.
- Mentor engineers on production agent development, tool integrations, and agent safety practices.
- Evaluate emerging agentic AI technologies and advocate for appropriate adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, including 2+ years building agentic AI systems or LLM-powered applications in production.
- Deep expertise in one or more of Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience building production agents with Google ADK, Anthropic Claude SDK, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
- Experience designing multi-agent systems, orchestration patterns, tool-use architectures, and enterprise integrations.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering, context engineering, and agent design patterns.
- Experience with APIs, Model Context Protocol, function calling, software architecture, scalable systems, and DevOps practices.
- Proven experience leading and delivering large-scale, complex software projects, including agentic AI initiatives.
- Proficiency with GCP, Vertex AI, Google ADK, Azure, Azure OpenAI, AWS, Bedrock, and GitHub.
- Experience building telemetry and observability for agentic systems, including tracing, decision logging, cost monitoring, and success-rate tracking.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder-influence skills.
