Base Salary
$160k - $241k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop unified, introspectable batch and streaming data processing systems for evaluation use cases.
- Create storage systems for large and diverse evaluation and performance metrics.
- Build dashboards and reports that make evaluation comparisons and improvements or regressions easy to identify.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end data pipelines from ingestion through final consumption.
- Develop and maintain continuous testing and monitoring systems for data and pipeline integrity and resilience.
- Collaborate with system engineers to validate autonomous-driving systems before deployment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with large-scale data and building scalable, reliable systems and data pipelines.
- Ability to understand and design complex systems.
- Ability and willingness to deeply investigate implementation details and drive technical standards and best practices.
- Knowledge of GCP, GCS, BigQuery, or PostgreSQL is preferred.
- Knowledge of data engineering tooling and best practices is preferred.
- Knowledge of batch and streaming data processing, warehousing, and analytics solutions is preferred.
- Experience with large-scale distributed data systems, system and framework design, or data workflow orchestration platforms is preferred.
