Base Salary

$160k - $241k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop unified, introspectable batch and streaming data pipelines for large-scale evaluation use cases.
  • Create storage systems for high-volume, diverse evaluation and performance metrics.
  • Build dashboards and reports that compare ML-component and overall-system improvements and regressions.
  • Develop and maintain continuous testing and monitoring systems for data and pipeline integrity and resilience.
  • Develop data-mining tools using applied ML techniques for autonomy areas including Perception, Behavior, and Mapping.
  • Develop data-annotation tools for first-party and third-party labeling workforces.
  • Scale perception, mapping, and driving-trajectory labels using state-of-the-art ML techniques.
  • Collaborate with system engineers to validate autonomous-driving systems before deployment.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. degree, including computer science, electrical engineering, or a closely related field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python or similar programming languages.
  • Experience with large-scale data and scalable, reliable systems or data pipelines.
  • Ability to understand and design complex systems and drive technical standards and best practices.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ or other high-performance low-level languages is preferred.
  • Knowledge of GCP, GCS, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, data engineering tools, batch and streaming processing, warehousing, analytics solutions, distributed data systems, system and framework design, or workflow orchestration platforms is preferred.
