Responsibilities
- Collaborate with account managers, clients, R&D, project managers, delivery teams, and third parties to define and document solution scope and requirements.
- Design Evertz equipment and systems solutions for broadcast and media facilities and refine them into final quotations and supporting documentation.
- Provide client demonstrations and proof-of-concept system documentation as required.
- Lead proposal creation and refinement and produce accurate bid-set documentation.
- Identify, document, and mitigate project risks and assumptions before deployment.
- Create design packages, gap analyses, functional specifications, and budgets.
- Identify new customers, build relationships, and maintain the existing customer base.
- Act as the technical authority through design, pre-commissioning, onsite commissioning, training, and sustaining engineering phases.
- Travel to client sites as required.
Requirements
- Electronics engineering or similar education.
- At least 3 years of experience deploying file-based workflow solutions.
- Experience designing, documenting, and sustaining full-lifecycle, end-to-end, client-facing enterprise projects.
- Experience with file-based broadcast, production, post-production, non-linear distribution, automated transcoding, quality control, business and traffic systems, and related media workflows.
- Experience with Broadcast IT and network infrastructure.
- Familiarity with BXF and industry-standard traffic solutions.
- Understanding of application integration with business systems using XML as the interchange format.
- Knowledge of current digital video compression standards and file types.
- Strong problem-solving, written communication, verbal communication, self-motivation, teamwork, and results-orientation skills.
