Responsibilities
- Design and develop Capture components for business document capture, processing, and recognition.
- Own the full software lifecycle, including system analysis, design, implementation, validation, test automation, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Write high-quality code and perform performance tuning across multiple platforms and devices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Provide technical guidance for software initiatives involving technology standardization and modernization.
- Coordinate team tasks, track progress, assess technical risks, solve problems, and report status to management.
- Understand, maintain, and extend large legacy codebases with minimal supervision.
- Respond promptly and professionally to bug reports and customer escalations.
- Work with Quality Engineering to review test plans and test cases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise software products.
- Proven experience building, maintaining, and improving enterprise applications.
- Advanced proficiency in C and modern C++.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, multithreading, performance optimization, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
- Strong debugging, triage, and root-cause analysis skills for complex technical issues.
- Hands-on software development experience with C++ and C.
- Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Git.
- Experience with GCC Compiler and Linux, or willingness to work on Linux, is a plus.
- Image processing software development and OCR experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of C# and the .NET Framework is a plus.
- Experience with RabbitMQ, Google Cloud Pub/Sub, or equivalent messaging technologies is a plus.
- Exposure to GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
- Content management and Capture/IDP domain experience is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
