Responsibilities
- Own and execute automation for cloud-based product deployments, auto-scaling, and zero-downtime rollbacks.
- Maintain and improve continuous integration workflows and deployment scripting.
- Respond to and troubleshoot issues identified through monitoring and alerting metrics.
- Perform root cause analysis for service interruptions and follow incident response protocols.
- Maintain SLA compliance for owned systems.
- Contribute to automation, auditing, and tooling for security, compliance, and resource usage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Software Developer, Systems Engineer, or DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent tools.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Working understanding of code and scripting with Python and Perl.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Agile development practices such as Scrum, XP, or Kanban.
- Ability to use open-source technologies and cloud services including Azure, GCP, or AWS.
- Professional hands-on experience with AI-assisted development or work tools such as Claude Code, Devin, Windsurf, or similar.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause identification skills.
