Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ML data pipelines and feature-engineering workflows.
- Design and implement scalable, performant, secure software across major system components.
- Collaborate with Applied Scientists and Data Scientists to productionize research prototypes.
- Monitor model performance and implement production retraining strategies.
- Contribute to product definition, scoping, design, coding, reviews, testing, deployment, and operational support.
- Identify root causes of operational issues and drive permanent reliability improvements.
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver customer value.
- Evaluate technical approaches and tools, including generative AI capabilities, and recommend improvements.
- Mentor teammates and provide constructive code and design feedback.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship design or architecture experience involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
