Responsibilities

  • Lead data migration, configuration, and testing for complex OpenGov cloud software implementations.
  • Review platform configurations and migrated data for requirements alignment, accuracy, integrity, reconciliation, and maintainability.
  • Own complex customer data migrations, including schema mapping, ETL configuration, scripting, and validation.
  • Validate customer requirements, resolve ambiguity, and advise on solution design.
  • Design and execute test scenarios before customer go-live.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for government and customer stakeholders throughout deployment and integration.
  • Identify customer pain points and improve or automate implementation processes.
  • Mentor and coach Associate and mid-level Implementation Engineers.
  • Define and improve implementation standards, templates, playbooks, and reusable tooling.
  • Partner with Project Management, Customer Success Management, Data/Integration, and Product teams.

Requirements

  • 6–9 years of experience in software implementation, data migration, or technical consulting, ideally with enterprise or SaaS products.
  • 5+ years of hands-on SQL scripting experience, including complex queries, data transformation, and reconciliation.
  • 3+ years of Python or similar scripting experience for automation and data processing.
  • Deep experience with database technologies, ETL, data migration, schema design, and performance considerations.
  • Experience implementing AI-driven solutions using modern frameworks and AI models.
  • Experience delivering complex implementations end to end and mentoring or technically guiding less-experienced engineers.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written communication, teamwork, and customer-service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to validate, reconcile, and approve data and configuration accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt to changing products and evolving customer needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field.
