Base Salary
$168k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of multi-feature software systems through strategy, development, deployment, and operations.
- Own team architectural direction and evaluate scalability, maintainability, performance, security, and technology tradeoffs.
- Collaborate with related engineering teams through design reviews, technical discussions, and written design artifacts.
- Mentor and coach engineers through coding practices, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Apply generative AI tools and techniques to improve development workflows and promote responsible technology adoption.
- Review operational metrics and alarms, support service health, and influence product roadmaps and partner-team direction.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience mentoring engineers, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Preferred: 5+ years covering the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
