Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical relationship for one strategic global financial services account from discovery through proof of concept, technical close, and expansion.
- Build and deliver demonstrations, solution architectures, and executive presentations connecting Snowflake capabilities to financial services data and AI priorities.
- Design and lead proofs of concept for risk analytics, regulatory data platforms, real-time fraud detection, customer intelligence, and AI/ML workloads.
- Translate complex financial services regulatory and technical requirements into practical, production-ready Snowflake solutions.
- Partner with the Account Executive and leadership as the account’s sole technical owner and co-develop the joint success plan.
- Coordinate with Product, Professional Services, Support, and Engineering to resolve blockers and accelerate adoption.
- Mentor and support junior Solutions Engineers and elevate the technical standard of the global accounts practice.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in pre-sales solution engineering, technical consulting, or data engineering in enterprise B2B technology, with significant financial services exposure.
- Deep knowledge of financial services data use cases including risk management, regulatory reporting, market data, fraud analytics, and AI/ML for credit and customer intelligence.
- Hands-on expertise with cloud data platforms, ideally Snowflake, and the ability to architect and demonstrate enterprise-grade solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data engineering tools such as dbt, Spark, and Kafka or equivalent tools.
- Ability to communicate credibly with CDOs, CTOs, and CIOs at global financial institutions.
- Track record of leading complex technical evaluations, winning competitive proofs of concept, and building strategic enterprise relationships.
- Experience using AI and LLM-based tools in technical workflows and articulating Snowflake Cortex AI capabilities.
- Preferred experience with capital markets firms, tier-1 banks, insurers, or global asset managers.
- Preferred hands-on experience with Snowflake, Cortex AI, data sharing, Snowpark, and Native Apps.
- Familiarity with financial services cloud migration patterns and legacy platforms such as Teradata, Oracle, and Hadoop.
- Experience with real-time data architectures, streaming ingestion, event-driven data platforms, data mesh, data product design, or enterprise data governance frameworks.
