Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, highly available cloud infrastructure and architecture.
- Create Infrastructure-as-Code environments and reusable automation modules using Terraform, CDKTF, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated build, testing, deployment, provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and scaling workflows.
- Operate AWS cloud services, containerized applications, distributed systems, data pipelines, and microservices at enterprise scale.
- Implement blue/green, canary, rolling, and zero-downtime deployment strategies.
- Design observability frameworks for logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerting.
- Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, on-call operations, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and reliability improvements.
- Implement DevSecOps practices, security scanning, vulnerability assessment, secrets management, dependency scanning, compliance checks, and infrastructure security controls.
- Lead and coordinate DevOps initiatives while partnering with software engineering, product, data, and security teams.
- Mentor engineering teams and promote cloud adoption, tooling modernization, automation, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–5 years of progressive experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
- Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting production cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with AWS or another major cloud platform such as Azure or GCP.
- Experience leading or coordinating DevOps initiatives, infrastructure projects, or cloud migration and modernization efforts.
- Experience operating highly available distributed systems in production environments.
- Strong proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, Docker, container orchestration, CI/CD platforms, cloud-native services, Linux systems administration, and scripting or automation languages such as Python or Bash.
- Understanding of cloud networking, identity and access management, containerized and microservices architectures, observability, disaster recovery, cloud security, software supply-chain security, cost management, and performance optimization.
- Experience with or understanding of Node.js and Vue.js application deployment and operational requirements.
- Deep expertise in one major cloud platform and strong cloud architecture fundamentals; experience across multiple cloud providers is valuable.
