Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize robust, scalable AI services for production AI and machine learning applications.
- Develop distributed systems, software architectures, APIs, data models, integration patterns, event-driven systems, and microservices.
- Build and deploy resilient AI applications across hybrid on-premise and major cloud environments.
- Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and machine learning researchers to integrate, operate, and improve AI applications at scale.
- Apply software engineering practices including code review, testing, design patterns, performance optimization, caching, and distributed-system tuning.
- Contribute to machine learning model serving, inference optimization, agentic workflow systems, observability, monitoring, and logging.
Requirements
- Experience designing and implementing distributed systems and software architectures for AI services.
- Experience with software engineering practices, including code review, testing, design patterns, and software architecture.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying scalable applications and services using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift Container Platform.
- Experience designing and implementing APIs, event-driven architectures, microservices, and service-oriented architectures.
- Proficiency in Python and Golang.
- Experience with application performance optimization, caching strategies, and tuning distributed systems.
- Experience deploying applications across on-premise and major cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
- Experience designing data access layers and working with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Basic understanding of machine learning model serving, inference optimization, and ML system design patterns.
- Exposure to deploying and managing agentic workflow systems and self-hosted ML models.
- Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and logging practices.
