Responsibilities
- Program, test, implement, document, maintain, and support application software.
- Develop secure and scalable backend software solutions using the listed technologies.
- Research and evaluate technical alternatives, including AI-based and automation-driven approaches.
- Assist with integrating AI-enabled components, agents, automation workflows, and intelligent system interactions.
- Create system, AI prompt/configuration, and testing documentation.
- Follow development, testing, security, audit, quality assurance, quality control, and responsible-AI standards.
- Support collection and reporting of project, software, and AI productivity metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve coding standards, automation, and process efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software engineering.
- Basic understanding of software engineering concepts, methodologies, and object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, cloud services, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, JCL, COBOL, DB2, and VSAM is preferred.
- Foundational exposure to AI concepts, AI-assisted development tools, APIs, agents, or automation frameworks is a plus.
