Base Salary
$79k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Present, demonstrate, and support the sale of Esri software and solutions as part of an account team.
- Develop Defense-domain and ArcGIS expertise and advise customers on technology trends and mission-critical challenges.
- Craft and deliver conceptual GIS solutions and strategies aligned with customer business needs.
- Provide best practices for the use, deployment, and administration of Esri technology.
- Design presentations for technical and non-technical audiences and present at conferences and trade shows.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications.
- At least 1 year of experience supporting the Defense space.
- Understanding of ArcGIS in an IT context, including hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, and cloud computing.
- Experience with technical consulting, conceptual solution design, sales and business development processes, geodatabases, and underlying DBMS technology.
- Knowledge of cloud computing environments such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to undergo a background investigation and obtain or maintain eligibility for Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25–50%.
- Preferred qualifications include troubleshooting Esri deployments and system architecture, integrating business systems and data platforms, incorporating real-time information streams, understanding AI and machine learning concepts, and programming or scripting with Python and JavaScript.
- A master’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
