Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and share ownership of macOS Agent-based integrations for monitoring.
- Leverage macOS native technologies to build observability features integrated with the platform.
- Lead new feature development from ideation to deployment across enterprise fleets.
- Solve challenges at the intersection of system programming and endpoint observability.
- Investigate bottlenecks and write optimized software for visibility without impacting performance.
- Influence product decisions and mentor other engineers on macOS initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building systems-level applications with a strong understanding of OS internals.
- Proven track record of shipping software on macOS at scale.
- Hands-on experience with native macOS APIs and system-level capabilities.
- Experience with macOS services and components, including launchd-managed services.
- Proficient in C/C++, Objective-C, and/or Swift, with experience in macOS build and packaging.
- Ability to own and deliver features in a fast-paced environment.
- Motivated to solve problems for IT Ops and Help Desk teams.
