Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and enhance Oracle EPM Planning Cloud applications, modules, and custom plan types.
- Develop, debug, and optimize Groovy scripts, Business Rules, and Essbase calculation scripts.
- Maintain Data Integration/Data Management routines, metadata loads, and data load rules.
- Build and customize Smart View templates, Financial Reporting Web Studio reports, and Management Reporting dashboards.
- Administer users, roles, groups, access permissions, and EPM Cloud security.
- Manage Oracle EPM Cloud patches, non-production compatibility testing, and deployment cycles.
- Monitor data loads, batch schedules, EPMAutomate scripts, and system performance.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support, diagnose incidents, resolve reconciliation and access issues, and manage Oracle Service Requests.
- Translate finance requirements into technical specifications, conduct user training, and maintain documentation, process flowcharts, and runbooks.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting Oracle EPM Planning Cloud, including EPBCS or PBCS.
- Advanced Groovy Scripting and Essbase calculation script skills.
- Expert knowledge of Oracle Data Integration/Data Management, ODI, and metadata administration.
- Strong Smart View for Office and EPM Report Designer skills, plus hands-on EPMAutomate and command-line automation experience.
- Knowledge of accounting and FP&A concepts including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow forecasting, and cost allocations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Oracle EPM Cloud implementation or technical certification is preferred.
- Experience with PCM, Profitability & Cost Management, ARCS, or EDM is preferred.
- SQL and database querying skills for backend data reconciliation are preferred.
