Forward Deployed Engineer - Global Public Sector
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Develop and deploy AI agents and experiences that take actions for enterprise customers.
- Design prompts, reasoning flows, tool calls, and integrations using Salesforce’s agentic AI platform and current LLM techniques.
- Own technical components from architecture selection through deployment, validation, and production observability.
- Build and integrate data pipelines using Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
- Create agent-performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting to monitor deployment health and business outcomes.
- Contribute to proofs of concept and MVPs and co-build solutions with customers and partners.
- Share best practices and enablement, surface platform gaps and edge cases, and provide field feedback to engineering and product teams.
- Partner with Deployment Strategists to translate customer business challenges into deployable agentic solutions.
Requirements
- Fluency in both French and English.
- At least 3 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience and at least one production system to present.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Required prior customer-facing technical delivery experience in consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering.
- Fluency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Ability to deliver quality code, rigorously evaluate AI outputs, and collaborate with sales teams and customer architects.
- Preferred Salesforce platform experience or certifications, including Administrator, Platform Developer I, or Agentforce Specialist.
- Preferred familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, orchestration patterns, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, data engineering, platform architecture, or headless deployments.
