Base Salary
$104k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement test cases and scripts for systems integration, regression, performance, functional, automated, and other software testing.
- Lead quality assurance projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and testing process and tool enhancements.
- Create test plans, determine testing resource needs, and schedule testing activities.
- Drive continuous integration and continuous deployment test automation processes and contribute to the team’s automation strategy.
- Track defect resolution, perform root cause analysis, and recommend long-term solutions.
- Participate in design discussions and advise on user story requirements with a focus on consumer impact.
- Collaborate with product, business, and cross-functional stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or comparable experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Knowledge of test methodologies, test data management tools, and programming languages.
- Software engineering or related experience focused on quality engineering.
- Experience writing test cases, executing functional, automated, or performance tests, and managing defects.
- Experience with software development life cycle activities, automation, and testing in continuous integration and continuous deployment environments.
- Experience with quality scanning tools, quality metrics, and dashboards.
- Experience with application programming interface, accessibility, chaos, security, performance, user interface, and disaster recovery testing and relevant frameworks.
- Testing certifications such as QAI, ASQ, IIST, ISEB, or ISTQB are preferred.
