Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to ASG DevOps teams.
- Design, develop, and maintain build and automated code deployment systems.
- Develop code and scripts, create artifacts and Docker images, and deploy applications to Azure DevOps, Red Hat OpenShift, and Linux environments.
- Configure and support middleware platforms as a subject matter expert.
- Maintain automated continuous integration and continuous delivery systems.
- Define version-control and deployment strategies using Git and GitHub across UAT, test, and production environments.
- Provide on-call support, coordinate production implementations, and support rapid recovery from application failures.
- Document application build, deployment, and configuration processes.
- Drive deployment automation from code check-in through production and improve delivery pipelines.
- Increase production monitoring and infrastructure automation capabilities while collaborating with application, QA, operations, infrastructure, and business teams.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of IT industry experience as an independent contributor or technical leader.
- Preferred experience with Go, Java, Python, Node.js, or C++ development and middleware administration in highly available environments.
- Strong understanding of JVM configuration and tuning parameters.
- Strong understanding of DevOps concepts, principles, tools, and CI/CD toolsets, including JFrog Artifactory, Snyk, Aqua, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins pipelines.
- Experience with Linux and Linux shell scripting using ksh or Bash.
- Experience with application build tools including Go, Ant, Maven, and Gradle.
- Experience with networks, load balancers, firewalls, Autosys/FH, Git, and GitHub.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a technical discipline, with a degree or diploma accepted.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor others, collaborate across teams, and adapt to evolving technologies.
