Base Salary
$108k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, maintain, and support full-stack web applications for operational requirements.
- Document and validate web application requirements.
- Design and build web application architecture and software solutions.
- Develop automated tests aligned with test plans.
- Participate in software design discussions and recommend relevant tools, technologies, and techniques.
- Refactor and update existing applications to add features and improve reliability and performance.
- Review web application cybersecurity posture and ensure compliance with software security requirements.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret or higher security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may substitute for the degree.
- At least 6 years of experience developing, deploying, and maintaining full-stack web applications and software systems.
- At least 6 years of experience identifying and validating software application requirements.
- At least 8 years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, and Angular web UI components.
- At least 4 years of experience designing and building RESTful web services.
- At least 6 years of experience with Java EE/Jakarta EE integration, Servlets, and JDBC.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or an equivalent database and SQL queries.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, Java EE Streams, lambda expressions, the Collections framework, and exception handling.
- Preferred experience includes Static Application Security Testing and software security compliance using OWASP, Coverity, and SonarQube.
- Preferred experience includes RESTful web services using JSON and test-driven development.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and self-directed working abilities are preferred.
