Responsibilities
- Execute complex software implementation and deployment projects with responsibility for technical accuracy, delivery quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Configure, test, validate, install, and support applications, databases, web-based solutions, and application components across Windows, UNIX, and Linux environments.
- Partner directly with customers as a technical advisor during deployment phases, meetings, issue resolution, and implementation updates.
- Assess project scope, resources, timelines, risks, forecasts, deliverables, and mitigation strategies with project managers.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, coordinate bug resolution, escalate critical issues, and maintain deployment and project documentation.
- Validate customer assets and configurations, document requirements and project activities, and identify process and operational efficiency improvements.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal teams, customers, project managers, quality assurance, development, and third-party vendors.
Requirements
- College degree in a Computer Systems-related field, or a high school diploma/GED, technical certification in Information Systems or Technology, and at least two years of systems engineering experience in healthcare technology or pharmacy systems.
- At least two years of demonstrated work experience in healthcare or pharmacy.
- Experience with Linux, UNIX, Windows, PostgreSQL, and installing applications on Windows or Linux servers.
- Working knowledge of server hardware, network configurations, web server technology, and SSL security.
- Experience with SaaS technologies including Docker or containers and Kubernetes, plus proficiency with Bash or Ruby.
- Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, meeting facilitation, negotiation, collaboration, and customer communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree, pharmacy or clinical operations experience, technical presentation experience, Docker and Kubernetes experience, OpenShift, RKE2 or Tanzu, GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, VMware or similar virtualization tools, and networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, NetBIOS, switching, routing, and VLANs.
