Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define the GI product line and lead its technical roadmap across AI systems, user interfaces, business logic, hardware integration, and clinician support.
- Build prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and the production minimum lovable product for the new GI care experience.
- Write and ship challenging software across the stack, including React Native mobile applications, backend services, and integrated product surfaces.
- Lead experimentation, interpret results, and use member feedback and product metrics to drive roadmap decisions.
- Mentor engineers through pairing, code reviews, design discussions, and technical guidance.
- Establish engineering standards for CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, observability, accessibility, reliability, and client performance.
- Partner with Product, Design, Marketing, data/analytics, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of practical software engineering experience building and shipping user-facing applications in production.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or foreign equivalent.
- At least 2 years of hands-on React Native experience building mobile applications at scale.
- Demonstrated track record of building new products from scratch and operating with an experiment-driven, ownership-oriented approach.
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript and React Native, plus familiarity with backend services such as Node.js/TypeScript or GraphQL.
- Experience with large React Native codebases, modern mobile development tooling, client performance, render optimization, DevOps, and application architecture patterns.
- Experience running A/B or multivariate experiments and using results to guide product decisions.
- Experience mentoring and developing engineers through code reviews, design collaboration, and technical guidance.
- Experience collaborating with product, design, and data/analytics partners to define metrics and refine user experiences.
- Preferred experience with consumer-facing applications used by millions or billions of users and with healthcare, HIPAA, or other regulated environments involving sensitive data.
- Experience using modern AI software development techniques and working across technologies such as TypeScript/Node.js, Go, GraphQL, AWS services, AI agents, computer vision, and medical device integration.
