Responsibilities
- Build and own production-grade simulation and forecasting software.
- Implement software using mathematical models and numerical methods.
- Collaborate with the forecaster lead and platform team for integration.
- Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews.
- Triage and debug production issues for reliability.
- Work with engineers, product managers, and military stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience in scientifically complex domains like simulation or forecasting.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, or Go.
- Strong foundation in production-quality software engineering.
- Math or science background through degree or professional experience.
- Strong sense of ownership and a bias for action.
