Staff Software Engineer- Fullstack _Node & Typescript (GLP Team), Bangalore

- Shape the architecture, design, and implementation of Global Localization Platform services.
- Design and build complex, high-performance backend and frontend systems for localization and translation workflows.
- Provide technical leadership for microservices, API design, eventing, deployment strategies, and distributed architectures.
- Lead technical initiatives across teams and align platform strategy with engineering, product, and business goals.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability using Prometheus, CloudWatch, Kibana, and similar tools.
- Write and review code across Java, Node.js, React, and TypeScript systems.
- Troubleshoot production issues, lead root-cause investigations, and drive systemic improvements.
- Contribute to modularization, internationalization tooling, and legacy-system decoupling.
- Mentor engineers at multiple levels and promote engineering, testing, documentation, and peer-review practices.
Requirements
- 9–13 years of hands-on software development experience, including architecture and design leadership for distributed production systems.
- Deep proficiency with Node.js, Python, Java, React, and TypeScript across backend and frontend development.
- Strong experience with AWS services including Serverless, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions, CloudWatch, API Gateway, and EventBridge.
- Experience building and deploying microservices with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation is preferred.
- Practical experience with RDS/PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and vectorization for full-text search.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, Kafka or MKS, and gRPC.
- Deep understanding of API lifecycle management, versioning, and service governance.
- Experience operating production systems with logging, alerting, monitoring, and operational excellence practices.
- Localization workflows, ICU, TMS integration, and content internationalization experience are advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, influence architecture, lead cross-team initiatives, and communicate technical solutions clearly.
