Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation systems for market creation and lifecycle management.
- Build reliable resolution infrastructure integrating with external data sources.
- Develop event-driven automation systems using messaging and streaming platforms.
- Ensure reliability and operations of market systems, diagnosing production issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the markets layer with the platform.
- Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions to uphold engineering excellence.
Requirements
- 4–7+ years of professional backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Go, or experience with Rust or Java.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and data pipelines.
- Experience building automation systems and integrating third-party APIs.
- Comfortable debugging complex systems on Linux.
- Experience with prediction markets or financial data is a plus.
- Familiarity with external data integrations and streaming platforms is a plus.
- Experience deploying systems in cloud environments is a plus.
