- Develop and optimize scalable, high-throughput metrics engines and calculation processes for risk exposure management.
- Build performant, resilient workflows for market scenario evaluation, counterparty assessment, credit rating assignment, and risk appetite definition.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of a next-generation AI-enabled, cloud-first architecture.
- Write clean production-grade code, implement platform uplifts, and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and follow modern software development practices.
- Collaborate with quantitative engineers, technical leaders, product managers, and technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on software development experience building and scaling enterprise-level, business-critical systems.
- Strong hands-on backend experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
- Experience with scalable software development practices, automated testing, and code reviews.
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, and high-availability patterns.
- Experience implementing or integrating AI-enabled tools, platforms, or automated solutions.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Financial services experience and deep knowledge of risk or risk engineering systems are preferred.
