Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and support complex applications and databases, including third-party product integrations.
- Translate technical specifications into code for complex projects and implement automated testing artifacts.
- Lead backend optimization for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Integrate data sources, APIs, and services to streamline data flow and improve system efficiency.
- Create and maintain backend architecture and logic documentation for cross-functional teams.
- Implement security, data protection, resilience, and enterprise software development standards.
- Collaborate with front-end teams to design backend interfaces and support user experiences.
- Promote code through development, test, and production environments and provide follow-up production support.
- Mentor less-experienced staff, resolve elevated issues, and participate in design, code, and test inspections.
- Analyze systems, communicate technical considerations to internal clients and cross-functional teams, and comply with IT and information security policies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software development, system integration, database design, and backend architecture.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or a Master’s degree or diploma in Computer Science.
- Strong server-side development, system integration, API management, database design, optimization, debugging, and performance-tuning skills.
- Hands-on experience with Python, TypeScript, API development, and strong software development practices; Python is mandatory.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Node.js, AWS, CloudFormation, ECS, Fargate, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, IAM, SQL queries, GitHub, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Splunk, and Honeycomb.
- Experience with LLMs, agent development, prompt engineering, agent memory management, AI workflows, and automation.
- Knowledge of UiPath Platform and UiPath Agent Builder is desired.
- Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager, AWS Cloud, data concepts, Confluence, and JIRA is preferred.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification and financial services domain knowledge are preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
