Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Menu Personalization

Responsibilities
- Build and operate ML systems for menu personalization.
- Partner with Data Scientists to transition research to production systems.
- Own significant components of the recommender stack from design to deployment.
- Instrument and improve systems in production for ongoing learning.
- Contribute to the personalization roadmap with data-backed insights.
- Mentor team members through code and design reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building and operating production ML systems.
- Experience with recommender systems or large-scale personalization is a strong plus.
- Fluency in Python and Spark, with knowledge of Go, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
- Statistical literacy to design experiments and interpret model performance.
- Operational judgment to diagnose and debug systems under load.
- Hands-on experience with AI tooling and a practical understanding of AI agents.
- Strong product sense with the ability to translate ideas into business value.
- A bias towards ownership and completing projects thoroughly.
