Responsibilities
- Ship new features for iOS and/or Android applications used by millions of customers.
- Contribute to mobile modernization, app architecture improvements, and new platform capabilities.
- Own features end to end from design specification through app store release and ongoing operations.
- Integrate APIs and product experiences in collaboration with designers and backend engineers.
- Use AI-assisted development tools daily for code generation, refactoring, and test automation.
- Contribute to cross-platform tooling and shared component libraries.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive technical decisions within the team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience and fluent English.
- Cross-platform mobile experience with React Native or Kotlin Multiplatform.
- Experience shipping applications to the App Store and/or Google Play.
- Understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture.
- Hands-on production experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
- Familiarity with .NET/C#, Go, Python, Java, React, MS SQL Server, Azure, or AWS.
- Ability to contribute across multiple layers of the stack rather than specializing in only one layer.
- Experience owning features from specification through deployment and ongoing operations.
- Strong software design, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD fundamentals.
- Preferred experience with internal developer tooling, golden path standards, SDLC improvements, e-commerce platforms, product catalogs, high-traffic consumer applications, and distributed teams.
