Responsibilities
- Build scalable, high-performance data solutions for teams across the metrics platform.
- Design strategic data pipelines and establish consistent architectures for metrics and calculations.
- Contribute to next-generation, AI-driven, cloud-first architecture with strong resiliency and scalability.
- Develop enriched data products, common data models, and platforms for metric explainability, limit management, and resource allocation.
- Write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and follow modern software development practices.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of hands-on data engineering experience building, modeling, and scaling enterprise-level, business-critical systems.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational database design.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Python backend technologies.
- Experience with automated testing, version control, code reviews, and scalable software development practices.
- Hands-on cloud experience, preferably with AWS, including high-availability patterns.
- Experience implementing or integrating AI-enabled tools, LLM-based platforms, or automated agentic solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with financial data and experience with Apache Spark, Flink, or modern cloud data warehouses are preferred.
