Responsibilities
- Understand and communicate how the existing Rust-based Agave validator client works.
- Translate Rust implementations into high-quality Zig code while maintaining performance and readability.
- Analyze and optimize software bottlenecks using high-performance techniques such as SIMD operations.
- Lead implementation, benchmarking, and testing of validator components from start to finish.
- Collaborate with engineers by breaking down complex ideas and communicating them clearly.
- Contribute to code reviews, feature design, full SDLC delivery, and mentoring as responsibilities grow.
Requirements
- 3+ years of related professional experience using Rust.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant experience.
- Experience with memory-managed languages such as Zig, C, or C++ is nice to have but not required.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex Rust code and collaborate effectively with a large engineering team.
