Base Salary
$136k - $253k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide architectural direction and code-level guidance for ML and AI systems.
- Architect distributed ML systems serving multiple global products.
- Standardize infrastructure patterns for LLM serving and retrieval systems.
- Define enterprise-ready agentic frameworks and architect multi-step reasoning systems.
- Lead decisions between deterministic workflows and autonomous agents.
- Implement guardrails, safety layers, and traceability mechanisms.
- Develop evaluation frameworks for reasoning quality, hallucination rates, and reliability.
- Establish engineering, testing, deployment, CI/CD, data governance, and responsible AI standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of machine learning or software engineering experience.
- Bachelor's or master's degree; a computer science degree is highly desirable.
- Strong software engineering background with experience in system design and architecting AI features or products for large user populations and large volumes of unstructured data.
- Experience deploying machine learning systems to production.
Benefits
- U.S. national base pay range of $136,100-$252,800, with geographic differentials potentially applying.
