Responsibilities
- Build and maintain research infrastructure and backtesting frameworks for quantitative research.
- Translate research ideas into robust, scalable, and maintainable research systems in collaboration with researchers.
- Design systems and develop data pipelines and research frameworks.
- Develop and maintain automated testing and build pipelines for research and backtesting environments.
- Work with distributed computing and distributed job scheduling or task assignment systems.
Requirements
- Background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least three years of software development experience as a software engineer.
- Strong programming ability in C++ and Python.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with distributed computing and distributed job scheduling or task assignment.
- Experience designing and maintaining automated testing and build pipelines for research and backtesting environments.
- Ability to work independently on large datasets and large codebases.
- Strong analytical, engineering problem-solving, communication, teamwork, ownership, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong English communication skills and commitment to the highest ethical standards.
