Responsibilities
- Partner with Design to implement strategic UX overhauls.
- Engineer and maintain reusable components and design patterns.
- Contribute to the internal design system for scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with designers to explore and prototype future-state concepts.
- Triage and prioritize UX enhancements and bug fixes.
- Add thoughtful microinteractions and polish to user experiences.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a Design Engineer, UI Engineer, or Frontend Engineer role.
- Expertise in building scalable UI applications using React, TypeScript, and CSS.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to translate design concepts into code.
- Experience with component libraries or design systems, such as Storybook.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with designers and product managers.
- A pragmatic mindset balancing technical debt, design intent, and development velocity.
