Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, build, deploy, and operate AWS Frontier AI services in GovCloud and isolated regions.
  • Build software tools and solutions using Java and Python across large-scale distributed environments.
  • Troubleshoot complex Linux, networking, systems, and operational issues and lead technical post-mortem discussions.
  • Automate operational tasks, improve resiliency, streamline processes, and deploy solutions across thousands of devices.
  • Influence technical strategy and architectural decisions, make data-driven decisions, and lead resolution of technical issues with partner teams and customers.
  • Support security campaigns, blocked-software remediation, host patching, and service parity programs.
  • Work with government customers and cross-functional teams to resolve contentious technical issues and improve customer experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Must obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
