Responsibilities
- Lead AI product development end-to-end from requirements analysis and solution design through implementation and delivery.
- Architect, maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot AI systems while driving performance improvements.
- Collaborate with developers, data scientists, designers, and product managers, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Establish best practices for unit testing, integration testing, and technical documentation.
- Lead code reviews and help shape engineering standards across the team.
- Evaluate and introduce emerging AI technologies, tools, and techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of overall software development experience, including at least 2 years working on AI/ML or LLM-related projects.
- Strong Python programming skills and experience shipping production-grade systems.
- Hands-on production experience with RAG or modern LLM application patterns.
- Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, or Django.
- Experience designing, building, and deploying AI projects, prototypes, or ML models at scale.
- Strong commitment to clean, maintainable code and the ability to balance rapid prototyping with production-quality engineering.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL or Elasticsearch.
- Java knowledge or Java development experience is a bonus.
