Responsibilities
- Lead full-stack development across front-end, back-end, and AI/ML components.
- Architect and implement LLM integrations, AI agents, prompt engineering, RAG, anomaly detection, and intelligent automation.
- Own technical initiatives end-to-end from architecture through production deployment and iteration.
- Use Copilot, GenAI assistants, and other AI-powered development aids to improve delivery velocity.
- Collaborate with surveillance stakeholders, compliance, product owners, and data engineering on roadmaps and requirements.
- Mentor developers, establish coding standards and AI-assisted workflow guidelines, and build team capabilities through coaching and code reviews.
- Evaluate emerging AI/ML technologies and frameworks and translate findings into proof-of-concept implementations and recommendations.
- Provide technical direction in ambiguous situations and represent team capabilities in stakeholder and enterprise AI strategy discussions.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Java.
- Deep knowledge of back-end frameworks such as Node.js, Spring Boot, FastAPI, or Django, plus working knowledge of React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Practical production experience with LLMs, NLP, prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, and AI agent frameworks.
- Experience building AI agents or agentic workflows in enterprise or regulated environments.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Strong SQL skills; experience with relational and NoSQL databases, Kafka or Kinesis, and Airflow or Spark.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code quality tooling, and production monitoring.
- Proven ability to lead teams, set technical direction, establish coding standards, and develop junior and intermediate engineers.
- Experience working with product owners, business analysts, and cross-functional teams in agile environments.
- Ability to communicate technical capabilities in business terms, present roadmaps, and influence technology strategy.
- Preferred experience with Claude, Devin, Copilot, or similar enterprise AI platforms and platform APIs.
- Preferred experience with communications surveillance, alert generation, case management, compliance workflows, and regulations such as MAR, Dodd-Frank, or MiFID II.
