Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform infrastructure on-premise and in Google Cloud Platform using Terraform and Ansible.
- Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.
- Manage and monitor GCP resources, including Compute Engine, networking, load balancing, storage, Cloud SQL, and related services.
- Provide technical support for platform applications and troubleshoot performance issues and application errors across Linux, JVM, Tomcat, Apache, and HAProxy environments.
- Implement infrastructure and application security measures, optimize platform performance, and resolve bottlenecks.
- Respond to infrastructure and application incidents and provide timely resolutions.
- Document infrastructure architecture, configurations, and operational processes.
- Collaborate with application developers, database administrators, security engineers, and other engineering teams.
- Research and evaluate technologies that improve infrastructure efficiency and scalability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar cloud infrastructure role.
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency writing and managing Ansible playbooks, tasks, and roles.
- Experience using Ansible with Linux, Windows, containers, and other tools and platforms.
- Extensive Google Cloud Platform experience, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Networking, and Cloud Load Balancing.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools, specifically Terraform and Ansible.
- Understanding of servers, virtualization, virtual machines, containers, and serverless computing.
- Understanding of routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancing.
- Advanced knowledge of Java Virtual Machines, Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, and HAProxy.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python.
- Understanding of security best practices and strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
