  • Define versioned, backward-compatible APIs and events using OpenAPI/Swagger and AsyncAPI.
  • Build event-driven systems with Kafka or Pulsar, including streams, transactional messaging, outbox patterns, replay, and delivery semantics.
  • Develop high-quality Java code with unit, contract, integration, end-to-end, performance, and chaos testing.
  • Implement observability through distributed tracing, structured logging, metrics, health checks, and golden signals.
  • Apply secure coding, secrets management, OAuth2/OIDC/JWT, encryption, and SAST/DAST compliance.
  • Containerize and deploy services to Kubernetes, optimize resources, and implement blue/green and canary releases.
  • Automate CI/CD and progressive delivery using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
  • Modernize legacy database-centric and monolithic systems into scalable microservices, including data migration and coexistence strategies.
  • Collaborate with architects and vendor teams, review designs and pull requests, identify gaps, guide remediation, and mentor engineers.
