Base Salary
$160k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and lead Guidewire Rating solutions across insurance products and lines of business.
- Configure Rate Books, Rate Tables, Rate Routines, Worksheets, Rating Variables, and Product Model integrations.
- Develop complex rating algorithms using Gosu and Guidewire configuration tools.
- Design integrations with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, external pricing engines, and third-party data providers.
- Translate pricing requirements into technical solutions with Product Owners, Underwriters, Actuarial Teams, and Business Analysts.
- Provide architectural leadership, conduct design and code reviews, and establish best practices.
- Optimize rating performance, scalability, and system reliability.
- Support testing, deployment, compliance, and architecture documentation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of IT experience with strong property and casualty insurance domain expertise.
- 5+ years of Guidewire implementation experience and 3+ years designing Guidewire Rating solutions.
- Expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter, Rating Management, Product Model, Integration Framework, and Data Model.
- Hands-on experience with Gosu, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, SQL, and Guidewire integrations.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP, as well as Git and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture, messaging systems, and API-led integrations.
- Guidewire Professional, Specialist, or Cloud certification is preferred.
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform and Rating Management migrations is preferred.
- TOGAF or Enterprise Architecture certification is preferred.
- Exposure to Agile or SAFe methodologies is preferred.

- Base compensation is listed at $160,000-$180,000 annually for the posted locations in New York, Chicago, and Atlanta.
