Base Salary

$160k - $180k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and productionize foundations for AI across Honor’s operating model, product systems, and internal workflows.
  • Develop systems for AI-assisted sales follow-up, operational defect analysis, reusable memory and retrieval, internal agentic tools, AI-powered data analysis, schedulable workflows, and closed-loop feedback.
  • Create secure model access, compliant data pathways, observability, cost controls, evaluation patterns, human-in-the-loop workflows, and reusable architecture.
  • Connect user-facing workflows, backend services, data pipelines, and AI/LLM capabilities into production systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, design, data, operations, security, and business stakeholders.
  • Participate in on-call support in collaboration with the tier 1 support team and help mentor other engineers.

Requirements

  • Production-grade feature development experience in Python or transferable experience with a common language such as Node.js and willingness to learn Python.
  • Experience designing reliable data models and using relational databases at scale.
  • Key contribution to the design and implementation of large, complex projects.
  • Ability to work with and refactor legacy monolithic systems while designing new services and integration patterns.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including explaining technical tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with LLM-powered products, AI agents, retrieval systems, memory systems, or evaluation frameworks is applicable.
  • Experience with model providers or platforms such as AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Gemini, or Anthropic is applicable.
  • Experience with secure data access, RBAC, auditability, compliant data workflows, internal tools, workflow automation, human-in-the-loop review, or feedback loops is applicable.
  • Knowledge of microservice architecture and RPC architecture is applicable.
  • Frontend experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React is applicable.
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as DataDog is applicable.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and mentor other engineers.
