Responsibilities
- Design and implement responsive Angular applications and reusable components for enterprise-scale clients.
- Modernize legacy AngularJS codebases into current Angular architectures.
- Design and implement scalable Java and Spring Boot microservices for cards and payments workflows.
- Create versioned, documented REST-style service contracts and integrate services with internal and external systems.
- Implement error handling, logging, monitoring, and observability to support production diagnosis and service health.
- Write unit, integration, and component tests for Angular, Java, and Spring Boot services.
- Optimize database interactions and service performance for high-volume transaction flows.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, peer engineers, platform teams, and site reliability teams on designs and deployments.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.
- Apply secure coding and compliance-aware practices for card data and payment flows.
- Analyze production incidents using logs, trace data, and metrics, then implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Seven to eleven years of software engineering experience.
- Strong Angular experience, including Angular versions thirteen through sixteen, with expertise in modular, maintainable, and testable front-end solutions.
- Practical AngularJS experience and ability to support incremental framework migrations.
- Expert Java and Spring Boot skills for scalable, secure microservices development.
- Hands-on experience with microservices patterns including configuration management, service discovery, and circuit breaking.
- Understanding of cards and payments domains, including transaction rules, settlement, and dispute scenarios.
- Clear communication and structured documentation skills for hybrid, distributed collaboration.
- Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer certification or equivalent Java certification is preferred.
- Additional Spring or cloud platform certification is beneficial.
