Base Salary

$105k - $124k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, code, test, debug, document, maintain, and modify high-complexity computer programs.
  • Participate in application architecture, estimation, timelines, cost analysis, and project task definition.
  • Develop scalable React-based user interfaces, reusable components, responsive design systems, and micro-frontend architectures.
  • Develop Java and Spring Boot microservices and APIs for distributed, cloud-native applications.
  • Collaborate with design, development, testing, business, and technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Improve development and test environments, unit tests, test plans, testing processes, and application performance.
  • Analyze business and technical problems, guide technical staff and business partners, and recommend architecture and technology solutions.
  • Monitor application efficiency, identify optimization opportunities, and ensure performance, service levels, standards, and configurations are achieved.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience developing maintainable, extensible, and testable distributed systems.
  • Expertise with modern JavaScript, ReactJS, Next.js, Node.js, reusable React components, and enterprise web application development.
  • Experience with Redux, Flux, Context API, GraphQL, Apollo Client, Axios, and Fetch-based service layers.
  • Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Styled Components, Webpack, application performance optimization, caching, and build processes.
  • Understanding of web application architecture, object-oriented programming, design patterns, JWT authentication, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience with Jenkins, CloudBees, Babel, NPM, Artifactory, Git or TFS, and development ecosystem tools.
  • Experience implementing user interfaces against APIs and developing Java/Spring Boot microservices.
  • Preferred experience with Azure or AWS, Kafka, GitLab, Apigee, Istio, Kubernetes, Rancher, and containerization.
  • Experience designing low-latency, scalable, reliable, high-throughput applications.
  • Familiarity with source control management practices, modern functional programming styles, and securing applications and containers using certificates.
  • AI experience is preferred.
